Background:

Grew up on the South Coast of Massachusetts in a Portuguese community and soccer has always been a big part of his life.

Coaching Philosophy: 

Dercy highly values a focus on individual player development as an integral part of building strong teams, while also emphasizing building good people both on and off the field.

Coaching Experience:

Joined Arlington SA in 2023. Currently serves as Head Coach for the 2017G Thorns and Assistant Coach for the 2016G Red & White. Previously coached the 2014G Gold & Silver teams at Arlington SA and the U8 boys team at Dartmouth Youth Soccer Association (Massachusetts).

Played his preferred position as a midfielder for many years, proudly representing Dartmouth, MA with Dartmouth Youth Soccer Association (DYSA) and Dartmouth High School.
